Our spirits are handcrafted in Canada using time-honoured techniques in a copper still. Unlike traditional Gin, we have created a unique flavour profile with uncommon botanicals that makes our gin stand apart.
About Gubiani Spirits
Founded by Master Distiller Faris Georgis, and named after his adored wife Nadia Gubiani, Gubiani Spirits is a cultural mosaic of heritage and love. The company has been established with family recipes from Italy, Turkey, Greece and the Middle East at the heart, as well as, a new touch of Canadian botanicals, to represent where the couple met.
Gubiani Spirits was established in 2016 with one mission: to bring high-quality gins to the world. Our passion for excellence inspired us in the beginning and continues to drive us today. We pride ourselves on offering the first Canadian Anice Gin, with humble foundations in Northern Italy and the Mediterranean.
Through the innovative harmonization of the centuries-old traditional Anice/Anis/Arak/Raki/Ouzo distillation process, with the well established Gin making process, we have developed a uniquely enriched spirit using Aniseed and Juniper berries together for a remarkable taste.
Our brand is proudly owned by Gubiani Distillery and produced by Nickel 9 Distillery.

Gubiani Maple Espresso Anice
Made in a copper still, Gubiani Maple Espresso Anice Gin is an Aniseed led spirit. It boasts a unique blend of botanicals with rich notes of dark roast coffee and juniper berries. The Anice has a smooth and warm finish, with subtle hints of Canadian maple.
It adds refined richness for a perfect Espresso Martini. Great neat, either chilled or hot. Add a shot to hot or iced coffee with a splash of coffee liqueur for an incredible spiked coffee. Also, nicely complemented with your choice of Amaros, mint liqueurs or orange bitters.
